UNIWAX 9009 is a medium firm, dark wax designed for hot roll application on most leathers to give an excellent pull-up effect. UNIWAX 9009 is recommended to be applied at a roller temperature above 80°C, adding between 12 to 16 grams per square foot. Pass leather under infrared lamps or through a drying tunnel at 90°C to give uniform appearance, then pile to cool. Use of UNIWAX 9009 on waterproof crust has given various results depending on wet-end waterproofing technology. Therefore use of UNIWAX 9009 on waterproof leather is only suggested after extensive trials to insure passing Maeser results.
