UNIPEL 9697 is a clear water insoluble silicone that can be used as an additive in our oils and hot melt waxes to improve maeser flexes on full and corrected grain leathers.
Recommended usage is 10-20 parts of UNIPEL 9697 to 100 parts of an oil or wax mixture.
Next apply a wax mixture at 14 to 16 grams per square foot on crust leather.
This can help achieve uniform maeser flexes above 15,000 and significantly reduce both dynamic and static water absorption percentages.
