U-CRYL SL-117 is a fine particle size acrylic resin that is useful as an adhesion promoter in aniline finishes, stain coats and full grain finishes. Along with increased adhesion, high levels of U-CRYL SL-117 give a more natural or naked looking leather. U-CRYL SL-117 is very soft and can be used as an impregnation resin.
It is very often used in combination with U-CRYL SL-163 for penetration in our impregnation mixture for best break results.
